For many people, Facebook is the Internet. Social applications will be built into our expectations of communicating with each other, like phones have been for 50 years.
The same type of transition is happening with marketing. Online marketing is quickly disappearing as a segmented practice. All marketing needs to embrace online techniques, including and especially social media marketing.
